Hi, I'm Ruslan. I was born outside of Kiev, Ukraine and moved to the US when I was 6 years old. As far back as I can remember, I've been fascinated by building things and learning about the universe.
I studied Mechanical Engineering & Business at Caltech, where I had the chance to work on robotic arm control at JPL, a Mars rover protoype, and play on the basketball team.
At Stanford, I finished my MSME, focusing on Mechatronics and Controls. I worked on a few awesome robots, including a basketball-playing Jawa Ship and a bike-controlled catamaran; I even got to program SLAM and obstacle avoidance on a Turtlebot. I also got to work on the LIGO project. They famously announced the first direct gravity wave detection on February 11, 2016!
I'm interested in robotics and mechatronics. and have the most experience in those fields, but I'm open to other cool projects as well. Check out my work and send me an email if you'd like to get in touch.
